Welcome to the web site of landscape photographer Jefferson Hammond LRPS.

My involvement in photography goes back over 20 years were my main interest has always been black and white photography, particularly photographing the many rich and varied landscapes of the British Isle.

I developed my early skills producing black and white prints in the darkroom whilst more recently I have moved to digital capture and monochrome ink printing. The move to digital ink printing has allowed me to broaden my interests to include colour as well as black and white photography.

Despite this my main interest still strongly remains with monochrome landscape photography although my more recent broader interests are reflected in the Portfolio and Galleries sections which show a wide range of subjects, both black and white and colour.

Currently my main area of interest lie in photographing the landscapes of the Welsh Marches which includes parts of the English counties of Herefordshire and Shropshire and the old former Welsh county of Radnorshire, now part of Powys. I am also currently spending time exploring and photographing the remote and often desolate landscapes of the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales.

Based in the Welsh Marches, I am available to undertake commissions and to provide tailored workshops for community groups, photography clubs and individuals on a one-to-one or small group basis.

I am also available to give talks on a wide range of photographic subjects.
